At the Chulalongkorn University High Altitude Research Club, we are driven by a passion for exploration, innovation, and education. Our mission is to promote a deeper understanding of space science and engineering among students and the broader community. Through hands-on projects, collaborative research, and outreach initiatives, we aim to raise awareness of the vital role that aerospace and high-altitude research play in shaping the future of science and technology.

Becoming part of the Chulalongkorn University High Altitude Research (CUHAR) team is more than just launching high-altitude rocket — it’s about launching your skills into the future. As a member, you’ll gain hands-on experience in:

Engineering Design & Prototyping – Learn to design mission-critical components using tools like Fusion 360, MATLAB and ANSYS.

CFD & Simulation – Master Computational Fluid Dynamics to analyze aerodynamic behavior and environmental interactions at high altitudes.

Mission Planning & Systems Integration – Work on real-world challenges involving avionics, payload design, telemetry, and recovery systems.

Coding & Data Handling – Program sensors and microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, Python, C++), and process in-flight data for mission analysis.

Teamwork & Communication – Collaborate across disciplines and present findings to academic and professional audiences.
